Taste the Flavours of Italy: Liguria and Piemonte
June Specials
Agnolotti del Plin
A classic from Piemonte, plin translates to “pinch”, a reference to how these delicate pillows of pasta are hand-folded. Ours are filled with braised meats and served simply to let the flavour speak for itself.
Pesto alla Genovese
Liguria’s most iconic export. We are serving a white version made with walnuts, pine nuts and Parmigiano. It’s rich, aromatic, and full of character.
Ravioli Dolci
A sweet surprise from the region’s lesser-known traditions, these dessert ravioli are filled with ricotta, citrus, and spices, lightly fried and dusted with sugar. A gentle finish to your meal.
Veal Tonnato
A classic Italian dish from the Piedmont region, thinly sliced, veal blackstrap roasted, then chilled topped with a creamy, savoury tuna-based sauce, capers, quail eggs and lemon balm.
Wine Pairings
2023 Viberti Filebasse Chardonnay – Piemonte, Italy
A vibrant Chardonnay from the hills of Piemonte, offering aromas of fresh peaches, crisp apples, and lemon curd. Medium- to full-bodied with bright acidity and a mineral edge, it pairs beautifully with seafood and lighter fare.
2019 Rapalino Barbaresco – Piemonte, Italy
This garnet-hued Barbaresco reveals complex aromas of violets, licorice, and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate, it is balanced and persistent, showcasing the elegance and depth characteristic of Nebbiolo.
2024 Vigneti Brichet “Montesanto” Moscato d’Asti – Piemonte, Italy
A delightful Moscato d’Asti with a straw-yellow hue, offering delicate aromas of white blossoms and ripe peaches. Its sweet, lightly sparkling profile makes it an ideal companion to desserts or as an aperitif.
